The UAE context Edenred UAE is a fast growing payroll service provider serving more than 15,000 business and more than 2.2 million unbanked employees. We service over 10 banks and 35 financial institutions. We offer a unique value proposition for companies to manage their payroll and for employees to receive their salaries and use it in the simplest way offering multiple value added services via our mobile app (money transfer, mobile recharge and card services). Job Overview We are looking for a rigorous, curious Product Manager to join the team that keeps financial crime out of a platform serving two million underbanked workers. This is an early-career product role with real ownership from day one. You will own a focused area within our wider financial crime and compliance product space, working alongside other product managers across the domain. This role goes beyond executing requirements handed to you by compliance and financial crime experts. You are expected to understand why a control matters, ask the right questions, and work with engineering and other teams to shape controls that protect users and the business without grinding the experience to a halt. We are looking for a product thinker, and we will give you the autonomy and the coaching to become a very good one. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of product management experience. A background in financial crime, fraud prevention, compliance, or payments is a plus but not mandatory. Key Responsibilities Rather than a fixed list, here is the kind of work this role involves. The broad goal is to keep financial crime out of the platform while keeping the experience fast for honest users • Making onboarding checks smooth and quick for new users while still meeting the rules • Helping the platform spot and stop suspicious activity and fraud earlier • Turning regulatory requirements into clear product changes that engineering can build You will own a slice of this, in partnership with engineering, compliance, financial crime, and other product managers Required Experience And Skills • At least 2 years of product management experience, with a track record of shipping • A genuine interest in financial crime and fraud, and comfort working in a regulated environment • Strong analytical instincts: you can work with data to spot risk, set sensible thresholds, and check whether a control is doing its job • Comfortable enough technically to discuss APIs and automation with engineers, plus spreadsheets and the basics of SQL • Able to own a product from problem definition through launch and iteration, with support. Beyond the craft, we care a lot about how you work • Ownership: you take responsibility for outcomes, speak up when something looks wrong, and follow through on what you commit to. • Communication and storytelling: you explain ideas and progress clearly, in writing and in person, and you write specs engineers can build from without guessing. • Collaboration: you listen actively, build trust across teams, and bring people along rather than pushing work over the wall. • Problem solving: you are creative and structured, comfortable facilitating a discussion and using both data and judgment to land on an answer. • Drive: you are proactive and entrepreneurial, you clear your own obstacles, and you ask for help early when you are stuck. • Curiosity: you are genuinely interested in users and in how the product works under the hood. Who You Will Work With • Reporting to: Senior Product Manager • Collaboration: Engineering, Compliance, Financial Crime, Customer Support, Design, and other product managers across the business Show more Show less
