Your Role in Our Mission As a Product Designer Manager, you'll be the creative and strategic force behind products used by traders worldwide. You'll work independently across overlapping time zones, collaborating with product, engineering, and leadership to deliver experiences that are intuitive, fast, and trader-obsessed. This isn't a hand-holding role. You'll drive design vision from concept to launch, influencing product strategy and defining what world-class looks like in prop trading platforms. How You’ll Make An Impact As the Product Design Manager at FNmarkets, you will define and drive the product design vision for our trading and brokerage ecosystem, ensuring seamless experiences across client-facing platforms and internal operations. By aligning user needs, business priorities, and regulatory requirements, you will lead cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-impact fintech products that strengthen our competitive edge. This is a leadership role with significant managerial capacity, not a pure IC position. You will set the design vision, manage and mentor a team of product designers, lead and drive performance across your team, and ensure design excellence at every touchpoint. You’ll be responsible for building a high-performing design function that ships world-class trading experiences at scale. What You’ll Be Doing • Setting and driving the product design vision across FNmarkets’ trading and brokerage platforms, from trader dashboards and onboarding flows to execution interfaces and compliance experiences • Managing, mentoring, and growing a team of product designers by setting clear expectations, running performance reviews, and creating development paths that elevate individual and team output • Leading cross-functional collaboration with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders across regions to ship fast without compromising quality • Establishing and evolving design systems, processes, and standards that ensure consistency, scalability, and speed across web and mobile • Conducting and overseeing user research, synthesizing insights from active traders to inform design decisions that move metrics • Championing user-centered design while balancing business goals, technical constraints, and regulatory requirements • Prototyping, testing, and iterating rapidly; we value speed and learning over perfection • Traveling occasionally for co-working sessions, team offsites, user research, and/or strategic planning sessions What You’ll Need • 7+ years of product design experience with at least 2+ years in a design management or lead role, with a portfolio that proves you can ship beautiful, functional products at scale • Demonstrated success launching and scaling trading or brokerage products in competitive fintech environments • Strong commercial acumen: balancing user experience, regulatory requirements, and revenue impact • Proven ability to build, manage, and develop high-performing design teams; you know how to hire well, set vision, and get the best out of people • Deep fluency in Figma, prototyping tools, and design systems; you’re the person teammates come to for Figma wizardry • Experience designing for fintech, trading platforms, SaaS, or similarly complex, data-rich products Perks • Strong collaboration and communication skills; you can articulate design rationale to engineers, PMs, and executives • Ownership mindset with a track record of delivering measurable product outcomes in high-growth settings • A bias for action: you prototype fast, test early, and iterate based on feedback and data (and actually feel comfortable speaking to users to validate early) • Bonus: Experience with prop trading, brokerages, fintech, crypto, or global-first products • Demonstrated experience integrating AI tools into the design workflow (e.g., ideation, prototyping, research synthesis, or production) with clear examples of how AI has accelerated or improved your work. • Shape the future of fintech and proprietary trading; your work will empower thousands of traders globally • Work with a vibrant, young, fast-moving team that values autonomy, ownership, and speed • Global exposure with travel opportunities • Competitive compensation package • Access to cutting-edge tools, resources, and continuous learning opportunities Your Journey After Applying • 30-minute HR Session with the Talent Acquisition team • 60-minute Session with the Direct Supervisor • 60-minute Session with Chief Strategy Officer Why Join NEXT At NEXT Ventures, performance is more than numbers — it’s the pulse that drives innovation and impact.
