Our client-An exclusive Private Members' Club in Dubai is seeking an experienced Sous Chef to support the Head Chef in delivering an exceptional culinary experience to its members. Role Purpose This role is hands-on and leadership focused, setting the standard for quality, professionalism, and pride in every service. Key Responsibilities • Support daily kitchen operations, maintaining the highest standards of food quality and hygiene • Lead service with calm precision, ensuring consistency across all sections • Uphold presentation, portion control, and culinary excellence • Supervise, train, and support junior chefs, fostering a respectful team culture • Assist with menu development, seasonal changes, and member events • Manage stock, ordering, and waste control • Work closely with front-of-house teams to ensure a seamless member experience Ideal Background • Experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie in high-end hospitality • Background in a private members club, five-star hotel, or premium restaurant preferred • Exposure to European and British cuisine is highly preferred. • Strong culinary foundations with a meticulous eye for detail • Fluent English communication skills • Reliable, professional, and trusted in high-expectation environments Core Competencies • Culinary excellence & attention to detail • Leadership & team development • Reliability & professional integrity • Clear communication & collaboration • Pride, ownership & sense of belonging Show more Show less
