Mechanical & Electrical Engineer | High Rise Building

Abu Al Naga Contracting LLC is looking for experienced Mechanical Engineers and Electrical Engineers to join our growing team in Dubai, UAE. Key Responsibilities: • Coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works with architectural, structural, and civil disciplines. • Review MEP shop drawings, builders’ work drawings, and coordination drawings before submission. • Identify and resolve clashes using coordination drawings and BIM models (Navisworks/Revit preferred). • Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and the main contractor to ensure smooth execution of MEP works. • Monitor site progress and ensure works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules. • Attend coordination meetings and prepare follow-up action items. • Support material submittals, shop drawing submissions, RFIs, and technical clarifications. • Coordinate ceiling layouts, builders’ work openings, sleeves, and service routing. • Conduct site inspections to verify installation quality and compliance with project requirements. • Assist in preparing progress reports, tracking logs, and resolving technical issues. • Coordinate testing, commissioning, and authority inspections when required. • Ensure compliance with local authority regulations, health & safety requirements, and project quality standards. Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. • Minimum 3 years of MEP coordination experience in mid-rise building projects. • Good understanding of HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, Electrical, and ELV systems. • Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory; knowledge of Revit and Navisworks is preferred. • Familiarity with local authority requirements in the UAE (DEWA, Dubai Municipality, Dubai Civil Defence, and related authorities) is an advantage. • Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
