What you'll actually be doin g:🔧 Building and maintaining market data + exchange connectivity into crypto exchang es⚡ Developing and extending trading algorithms within the live syst em🎯 Optimising for micros/nanos — not "make it faster," actual sub-microsecond engineering 🤝 Working cross-team to keep the whole trading stack hummi ng What you need to bri ng:• 8+ years in C++ (10+ total software dev experience) 3+Years for junior to mid dle• Real scar tissue from high-load, low-latency systems, not just system design intervi ews• You can talk DSA and design patterns without reaching for a textb ook• Network protocols you actually understand, Websockets/FIX/Kafka is a big p lus• Financial markets or HFT exposure; bonus points if you've built trading strategies yourself • You can debug a production fire at 3 am and explain root cause calmly the next morn ing• Comfortable owning a technical initiative end to end, spec to deployment, no hand-hold ing Bonus (not dealbreakers, but they'll make me notice you fast er):🚀 Kernel bypass / DPDK experi ence🚀 System-level / network performance tuning c hops🚀 Future team lead potential, ideally with experience managing remote devs This is proper systems engineering at the edge of what's possible — Dubai-based, serious infrastructure, serious prob lems.
