Dubai Modern School - Hiring Social Studies Teacher (B) Location: Dubai, U.A.E.

Job responsibilities:

Teaching and Classroom Management:

• Plan and deliver engaging and effective social studies lessons for secondary students.
• Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment that supports student learning.
• Manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe and orderly classroom.

Student Assessment and Support:

• Assess and monitor student progress and development in social studies.
• Provide individualized support and enrichment opportunities for students with varying levels of ability.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress and development.

Curriculum Implementation:

• Implement the social studies curriculum aligned with the US Curriculum standards.
• Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods into the classroom.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure curriculum alignment and coherence.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/master’s degree in social studies or a related subject.
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a school in UAE, familiar with the US curriculum.
