We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at Drift. The ideal candidate will possess excellent service skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to ensure that our guests have an exceptional dining experience.
Responsibilities

Management & Operations:
- Ensure the efficient and profitable management of the restaurant.
- Contribute to management and department meetings.
- Keep the General Manager up to date with relevant issues and seek their input and advice as necessary.
- Ensure stock take figures are completed and accurate as per company requirements.
- Observe compliance with the company’s policies and procedures, as well as governmental laws and regulations.

Supervision:
- Supervise the opening & closing of the restaurant.
- Ensure proper cleaning and lighting of all restaurant internal and external areas.
- Perform daily checks on the smooth performance of all restaurant machinery and equipment.
- Maintain safe working conditions for employees and customers; resolve safety concerns quickly.
- Ensure the proper appearance (condition of uniforms) and grooming of assigned staff members.

Staff Management:
- Assist in the implementation of manpower retention plans, and communicate recruiting needs to the HR Department.
- Coach and train employees to improve performance and achieve department objectives through on-the-job training and daily meetings.
- Manage the restaurant staff working schedules.
- Establish rotation schedule of new employees and trainees.
- Motivate and develop staff to encourage their professional development.
- Evaluate the performance of all restaurant employees ensuring reviews are delivered to the HR Department on time.
- Suggest proposed salary reviews, personnel actions, and promotions to the General Manager.
Qualifications
- At least 1-2 years of full-service restaurant management experience.
- Flexibility in working hours and a willingness to cover shifts as needed.
- Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work.
