Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Reservations Agent to join our team at One&Only Royal Mirage Hotel in Dubai. As a Reservations Agent, you will be responsible for receiving and processing reservations in a professional and efficient manner, while providing accurate commentary to all other departments. You will also be expected to anticipate guest needs, address them in a refreshing, respectful, and polite manner, and exceed guest expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Process reservations accurately and efficiently
• Record all relevant details accurately, including payment details
• Maintain confidentiality of information at all times
• Ensure awareness of packages and tiers available for sale and communicate specials and promotions to guests
• Utilize "preferences", "traces", and comments to ensure relevant departments are updated with guest preferences
• Ensure all relevant administration is kept updated at all times
• Demonstrate a commitment to a sense of urgency, immediacy, and total responsiveness
• Anticipate guest needs and address them in a refreshing, respectful, and polite manner
• Demonstrate a willingness to "go the extra mile" to exceed guest expectations

Requirements

• At least 1-2 years' experience in an upscale luxury hospitality industry or five-star hotels
• Reservations background with strong attention to details and analytical skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English and/or another language
• Computer literate, including relevant software and experience in using a Opera system
• Middle East/GCC experience is an advantage
