Accel HR is seeking a Procurement Director for their client, a leading hospital specializing in medical and surgical services. The ideal candidate will lead the hospital's procurement function and oversee the sourcing of medical equipment, supplies, pharmaceuticals, and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the procurement function, developing and implementing strategies for sourcing medical equipment, supplies, and pharmaceuticals.
• Manage the entire procurement process, including sourcing, bidding, evaluation, and vendor selection, ensuring competitive pricing and high-quality standards.
• Oversee contract management, including negotiation, drafting, and monitoring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to the procurement team, ensuring alignment with hospital objectives.
• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure optimal stock levels and timely delivery.
• Ensure compliance with ethical standards, hospital policies, and healthcare procurement regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum of 10 years of procurement experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within healthcare.
• Proven track record of cost-saving initiatives and vendor management in a hospital or healthcare environment.
• In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations, procurement standards, and medical supply chains.
