🌟 Managing Director - The Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management 🌟 📍 United Arab Emirates 🚀 About the Job: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Managing Director within Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management (EAHM). The Managing Director is responsible for leading the development and implementation of long-term academic and operational strategies across all areas of the EAHM. This role aims to provide world-class education and professional training, achieve operational excellence, and ensure financial sustainability, thus positioning EAHM as a key player in the global hospitality management education sector. 📋 About the Role: - Lead the development of EAHM’s vision and mission, setting a clear direction through strategic planning and implementation. - Oversee compliance with local licensure and accreditation requirements (CAA). - Achieve organisational KPIs in consultation with the owners' representative, Board of Governors, and ExCom. - Approve all programs (reviews, updates, and new programs) in consultation with the Dean, Program Manager, Quality Assurance, and CAA. - Represent EAHM at various hospitality-related higher education conferences and seminars to raise the Academy’s visibility regionally and internationally. - Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key external stakeholders, including the Ministry of Education and other relevant international institutions. - Manage Academy staff and teams, overseeing performance management, recruitment, training, and development to ensure high levels of engagement and competence. - Recommend the EAHM budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget. - Ensure the development of relevant HEI systems (LMS, CRM, SIS, Library, HR, Finance, HSE) to support organizational effectiveness. 👨🎓 About You: The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications: - A minimum of 10 years of experience in leading at senior levels in a prominent higher education institution. - Doctoral Degree or Master’s Degree in Hospitality Management or equivalent from an accredited and renowned University. - Past leadership in academic quality assurance. - Excellent mastery of core academic processes such as academic curriculum design, teaching administration, and academic accreditation. - Strong understanding of higher education standards. - Excellent knowledge of student services best practices in the Middle East with a strong student-centric mindset. - Outstanding interpersonal skills and an ability to connect with people at all levels to drive successful relationships. 🎁 About the Benefits: We offer an attractive tax-free salary, paid in Dirhams (AED), the local currency of the UAE.
