Lead Quantity Surveyor (CostX experience)

About the Role:
AtkinsRéalis is looking for a Lead Quantity Surveyor with CostX experience to join our successful pre-contract and measurement team in Abu Dhabi. We are seeking an MRICS Senior Quantity Surveyor to join an established professional team committed to technical integrity, innovation, and the development of its people.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide pre and post-contract commercial support (POMI and FIDIC).
- Manage bonds, insurances, and guarantee logs.
- Handle interim valuations and payment certificates.
- Assist in variations analysis, recommendations, and management.
- Support risk and value management and cost control functions.
- Conduct cost analysis project work.
- Identify, analyze, and develop responses to commercial risks.
- Prepare progress/cost reports.
- Report to Associate Director on all commercial issues.
- Understand health and safety regulations and their implications.
- Attend and represent the company at commercial meetings.

Experiences and Qualifications:
- Broad and solid infrastructure project experience, including roads and primary MEP infrastructure (substations, water, drainage).
- Experience in the measurement and quantification of facility and infrastructure works.
- Proficiency in cost estimating for facility and infrastructure elements.
- Previous experience with FIDIC Contracts.
- Degree in Quantity Surveying from a recognized university.
- Chartered Quantity Surveyor (MRICS).
- Minimum 12 years of post-contract relevant experience in contracts and commercial management.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with a consultant and/or client background.
- International experience (minimum 3 years preferred).
- Proficiency in QS software Cost-X or similar.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proven English language technical writing ability and skills.
