We are seeking a creative Interior Design Manager to be part of a team that's revamping urban living with cutting-edge, sustainable designs. In this role, you'll ensure design excellence, coordinate with top-tier consultants and vendors, and drive projects from concept to completion. Apply today and make a lasting impact! 📋 Key Responsibilities: - Provide complete, accurate, detailed, and approved construction documents to appropriate teams. - Create various documents such as project plans, progress reports, inventory reports, and project requests. - Keep abreast of new technology, legal requirements, and trends, making recommendations and implementing improvements/upgrades as necessary. - Create and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for departmental processes and procedures. - Perform other related duties and projects as business needs require at the direction of management. - Coordinate with the design team on project deadlines and requirements, ensuring timely completion. - Conduct consultant meetings and presentations (on and off-site). - Conduct various project presentations (Samples, Budgets, FF&E Packages, Construction Drawings). - Conduct site visits to gather information, plans, photos & measurements. - Conduct on-site installation & supervise furniture. - Coordinate with the purchasing department for project requirements. - Conduct research or vendor sourcing. 📌 Experience: - Serve as a technical expert for designs and constructions to ensure quality design process compliance with current local codes of practice. - Coordinate with consultants, internal departments, and vendors to manage changes and approvals, ensuring projects are on schedule and within budget; obtain construction approvals as necessary. - Create various documents such as blueprints, project plans, progress reports, inventory reports, project request forms, field measures, and sketches/documents of existing site condition floor plans, presentations, and client boards. - Review and approve all work performed to ensure compliance with all codes and standards. - Guide the team to research materials, color palettes, fabrics, furniture, lighting, wall/ceiling materials, flooring, plumbing fittings/fixtures, and accessories for the development of standardized corporate material library and project submittals. - Manage the digital database of floor plans for all company facilities continuously; provide the department with a database to ensure designs stay ahead of schedule and within budget. - Review and plan space allocation for departments and facilities with effective execution. - Develop and execute project plans and delivery commitments, communicating project status, delays, or any discrepancies that may affect business initiatives to management and stakeholders. - Research bids from external vendors to determine the best quality and pricing for designated projects. 🎓 Qualifications: - Degree or postgraduate degree in Architecture, Interior Design / MSc or equivalent. 🔧 Skills: - 10+ years of relevant experience as an interior design architect in a reputed design consultancy. - Familiarity with Local Codes of Practice. - Proficiency in the use of design tools (AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, 3DMax, SketchUp). - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - A resilient work ethic with attention to detail, design quality, aesthetics & market trends. - Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills. - Proactive and ability to meet project timelines and client expectations a must. - Language Fluency: Excellent written and spoken English.
