🌟 About the Role:
As a Hygiene Officer, your role will be to support the functioning of the food safety management system (FSMS) at the Resort and liaise with all requirements of the government authorities. You will implement and audit the resort food safety and health safety standards and internal inspection system to ensure the highest compliance. You will facilitate and report on all external audits, conduct vendor site audits, and coordinate with external laboratory and food safety and hygiene services. Adopting a proactive and pre-emptive approach to risk assessments, established systems, and training programs is essential.

- Support the functioning of the FSMS at the Resort.
- Liaise with government authorities on food and health safety requirements.
- Implement and audit the resort's food safety and health safety standards.
- Conduct internal inspections to ensure compliance.
- Facilitate and report on all external audits.
- Conduct vendor site audits and coordinate with external laboratory and food safety services.
- Adopt a proactive approach to risk assessments, established systems, and training programs.

🌟 About You:
A perfect candidate should have strong interpersonal and organizational skills, strong administrative abilities, and strong communication skills. Knowledge of ISO22000:2018 and HACCP standards, a Bachelor's degree in Food Microbiology or similar, and NEBOSH- International General Certificate or similar are required. 3 years of food safety, hygiene, and health safety experience in a large 5-star hotel group is a must. Internal auditor certification in ISO 9001, ISO45001, and ISO 22000 would be an advantage. Familiarity with UAE Health & Safety & Food Safety regulations is essential. Experience in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, is necessary. The ability to interact with colleagues (at all levels) in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining proactive, resourceful, and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality, is crucial.
