Head of Curriculum in Dubai Modern School

Dubai Modern School - Hiring Head of Curriculum Location: Dubai, U.A.E.

Job responsibilities:

Leadership and Management:

• Lead the development and implementation of the school’s curriculum across all subjects.
• Collaborate with department heads and teachers to ensure curriculum alignment and coherence.
• Provide professional development and training for teachers on curriculum design and delivery.
• Oversee the assessment and evaluation of the curriculum’s effectiveness.

Curriculum Development and Implementation:

• Design and implement a comprehensive curriculum aligned with the US Curriculum standards.
• Evaluate and update curriculum materials regularly to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
• Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods into the curriculum.

Student Engagement and Performance:

• Monitor and evaluate student performance and progress across all subjects.
• Ensure that the curriculum meets the diverse needs of all students.
• Provide individualized support and enrichment opportunities for students with varying levels of ability.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree with 3-5 years of experience in a similar leadership role.
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a school in UAE, familiar with the US curriculum.
