📢 Job Opportunity: Head of Business Development 📢

🔍 Job Description:
The Head of Business Development is responsible for increasing company revenue by identifying and developing new business opportunities as well as expanding brand presence, negotiating sound business deals, leading cross-functional teams, maintaining customer relationships, and supporting the Director BD. This role requires excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. 

📋 Accountabilities:

1. Strategy:
   - Work closely with Director BD to implement business strategies.
   - Act as a creative leader, capable of motivating and influencing key stakeholders.
   - Lead BD/Sales teams, pipeline reviews, and counter-action activities to assure a high winning ratio.
   - Develop and implement policies and SOPs to maintain standards and ensure efficient working.
   - Collaborate with all departments to achieve company vision.
   - Provide extensive coordination with internal groups/departments.
   - Produce results as per plans and financial targets through effective resource management.
   - Produce reports and SWOT analysis for upper management as required.

2. Management:
   - Conduct trainings, coach, hire, delegate, recognize, and support the BD team.
   - Resolve issues and conflicts within the BD department.
   - Assign teams to handle bid requirements from registration to signoff and award, including responding to RFI's and RFP's.
   - Collaborate with operations on site visits, solution designing, and manpower allocations.
   - Attend exhibitions and represent the company when required.
   - Collaborate with Director BD on BD goals, plan, and forecast; maintain short- and long-term business development plans.

3. Business Development:
   - Identify new business opportunities that meet specific organizational needs and ensure a strong sales pipeline is in place.
   - Drive the team to generate leads through cold calls, door-to-door marketing, and seeking references from existing clients.
   - Develop and implement bid strategies to maximize success rates.
   - Coordinate and manage cross-functional bid teams, ensuring all contributors are aligned and deadlines are met.
   - Develop and write high-quality, persuasive proposals that clearly articulate the value proposition and benefits of the company's solutions.
   - Ensure all proposals are compliant with client requirements and company standards.
   - Review and edit proposal content for accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
   - Steer the team to understand client needs and offer customer-centric solutions.
   - Support the BD team with bid solutions toward techno-commercial reviews and submission.
   - Sign off on proposals while maintaining company guidelines.
   - Create cost analysis and oversee submission and benchmarking if required.
   - Create informative presentations; present and deliver information to potential clients at meetings, industry events, and conferences.
   - Support the BD team in closing sales towards mobilization.
   - Drive the solution to follow the “Farnek Way” (Smart & Green) and ensure efficiency.
   - Establish and maintain effective business relationships with customers/clients, ensuring high-level satisfaction.

4. Standards:
   - Ensure all safety standards are adhered to within our solution, including complying with U.A.E. laws and associated governing bodies.
   - Ensure all company’s agreed standards are adhered to within our solutions and proposals.

5. Talent Management:
   - Lead, motivate, coach, mentor, and develop the skills of the team.
   - Identify development needs and support improvement of knowledge and skills.
   - Provide guidance and direction, including setting performance standards and monitoring performance.
   - Ensure employee retention and engagement.
   - Identify potential leaders and develop succession plans.

🎯 Objectives:
- SMART Objectives set by the line manager.

🎓 Qualifications:
- University degree with further education such as an MBA preferred / Engineering.

💼 Experience:
- Minimum 10 years in Facilities Management, with at least 5 years in senior management.
- Experience in bid management, proposal writing, or a related role, preferably in a complex technical or service industry.

🔧 Skills:
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Strong knowledge of facilities management services (soft and hard services solutions).
