## Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

1) Main Duties:

· Interpret production targets and breakdown into objectives for each workstation per shift -

planning and organizing the shift employees in achieving daily Production targets.

· Monitor and ensure that all personnel adhere to work instructions and procedures

· Responsible for optimizing machine efficiencies, controlling wastage and determining and

analyzing yield.

· Ensure GMP & HACCP & Safety system implementation and upkeep.

· Responsible for Site Hygiene and Housekeeping and disposal of by products (waste)

· Ensure employee development – Training and mentoring and providing skills development

requirements to Factory Manager.

· Increase employee moral and be able to handle queries of shift workers without differentiating

religion, nationality or race.

· Ensure that Health and Safety procedures are adhered to and all employees are using the correct

PPE.

· Monitor attendance and Employee time Management and ensuring weekly timesheets are

correct.

· Participate in the maintenance of operational controls and compliance with HACCP audit and

regulatory guidelines for all activities.

· Ensure customer – service levels by producing quality products within the agreed timeframes.

· Assist in the investigation of internal non conformities and customer complaints by completing

the corrective action.

· Request raw materials, stock inventory management, and all production and SAP related data

and documentation.

· Assisting in the implementation of ad-hoc projects, as and when asked.

· Performing any other assignments as required by the Factory Manager / Production Manager

2) Administrative Duties:

· HACCP – documentation (Master cleaning schedules & GMP check sheets)

· Production Records and filing

· Time Management (Employee Timesheets)

· First aid & Safety records
