The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving beverages according to established recipes and service standards while creating a welcoming and personalized guest experience. The role requires strong product knowledge, attention to detail, and effective upselling to support guest satisfaction and outlet revenue. Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve beverages and cocktails according to approved recipes and presentation standards Maintain thorough knowledge of beverage products, cocktail recipes, premium selections, and garnishes Engage with guests professionally, handle enquiries, and build positive guest relationships Apply effective upselling techniques to enhance the guest experience and maximize revenue Complete mise-en-place, opening and closing duties, requisitions, and stock checks Maintain a clean, organized, hygienic, and well-presented bar area Monitor operating supplies and minimize spoilage, breakage, and wastage Process guest payments accurately and follow established cashiering procedures Assist with inventories and the training of new team members Follow all hotel policies and procedures relating to service, fire safety, hygiene, health, and safety Support banqueting and other operational areas when required

## Requirements

Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Bartender in a hotel, restaurant, bar, or similar food and beverage establishment Strong knowledge of beverages, cocktail and mocktail preparation, garnishing, and presentation Sound knowledge of bar hygiene, food safety, and workplace safety standards
