## Description

• Performs specific and moderate portions of a broader assignment of an experienced water infrastructure engineer. Gathers and correlates water systems engineering data (hydraulic analysis, treatment processes, distribution networks) using established and well-defined procedures. Works on detailed or routine water infrastructure engineering assignments involving hydraulic calculations, structural assessments, and system performance tests. Proposes approaches to solve new water infrastructure challenges encountered using modifications of standard procedures or methods developed in previous assignments. Identifies discrepancies in water quality, system performance, and infrastructure integrity results. Provides guidance to entry-level engineers on water and infrastructure engineering best practices. Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with little supervision, ensuring compliance with water infrastructure standards and regulations. Independently performs all tasks necessary to complete primary design elements for water infrastructure works, including treatment facilities, distribution systems, and wastewater management projects. Performance at this level requires developmental experience in a professional water infrastructure engineering position.

## Requirements

**Required Qualifications:** Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related engineering discipline from an accredited institution Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent engineering registration Minimum 15 years of professional engineering experience in water infrastructure, with the majority (at least 10+ years) gained in the GCC region Demonstrated expertise in hydraulic analysis, water treatment processes, and distribution network design Proven experience leading design projects for treatment facilities, distribution systems, and wastewater management infrastructure Strong knowledge of international and GCC water infrastructure standards, codes, and regulatory requirements Experience mentoring and providing technical guidance to junior and entry-level engineers Proficiency in engineering design software and hydraulic modeling tools Excellent project management skills with demonstrated ability to manage budgets and schedules independently **Preferred Qualifications:** Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or related field Additional professional certifications (e.g., LEED, ISO 9001, or water quality management certifications) Experience with large-scale infrastructure projects in arid or semi-arid climates Familiarity with GCC-specific water challenges and desalination technologies Track record of successful project delivery in multiple GCC countries
