## Description

SOFITEL JABAL OMAR MAKKAH

Conduct regular patrols of guest areas, public areas, back-of-house areas, parking facilities, and other designated locations. Monitor hotel entrances, exits, access points, and restricted areas. Ensure that only authorized individuals have access to restricted areas. Respond promptly and professionally to security incidents, emergencies, and guest or colleague concerns. Monitor and report any suspicious activity, safety hazards, unauthorized access, or unusual behavior. Assist guests and colleagues in security-related matters while maintaining a professional and courteous approach. Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain daily security logs. Coordinate with the CCTV Operator and Security Control Room regarding security incidents and observations. Assist in emergency situations, including fire alarms, evacuations, medical emergencies, and other incidents, in accordance with hotel procedures. Conduct inspections of doors, emergency exits, fire equipment, and other security-sensitive areas and report any irregularities. Support the investigation of incidents by providing relevant information and cooperating with authorized departments. Control and monitor the movement of employees, contractors, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with hotel procedures. Ensure that lost and found items are handled and recorded according to hotel policy. Maintain strict confidentiality regarding guest information, hotel operations, security incidents, and investigations. Complete all required security checklists, logs, and reports accurately and on time. Follow all hotel security, safety, fire prevention, and emergency procedures. Perform any other duties assigned by the Security Supervisor or Security Management.

## Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a security role, preferably within a hotel or hospitality environment. Basic knowledge of security procedures, emergency response, and fire safety. Good observation and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm and professional during emergencies or challenging situations. Physically fit and able to stand and walk for extended periods. High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism. Basic computer skills and ability to complete security reports and records. Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
