Job Purpose

The purpose of a heavy vehicle driver's job is to ensure the safe, efficient, and timely transportation of goods from one location to another.

Job Responsibilities

• Transport Goods: Transport goods across long distances by safely driving heavy trucks, ensuring you track your hours and follow all regulations along the way.

• Operating Vehicles: Make sure that heavy trucks and trailers are driven safely, sticking to all traffic laws and the rules set by your company.

• Vehicle Inspections: Check the vehicle before and after each trip to make sure it's safe to drive and well-maintained.

• Loading & Unloading: Make sure that goods are loaded and unloaded safely using the crane and always follow the right steps to keep the cargo secure while it's on the move.

• Communication: Communicate with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers to coordinate deliveries and address any issues that arise.

Education

Diploma or degree in a technical, Business, or relevant field

• Minimum three years of experience.
