## Description

The Equipment Mechanic maintains the equipment such as tampers, dynamic stabilizer, ballast distribution system, ballast regulators, sand removal machine, mobile flash butt welding machine, civil construction machinery, light/heavy road vehicle etc. in accordance with the manufacturer’s manuals and specifications.

## Requirements

Academic Qualifications Bachelor's Degree Formal mechanical/electrical technical qualifications.   Professional Capabilities Recognized capability to maintain the above mentioned on-track and off-track vehicles and equipment. Knowledge of diesel engine diagnostic processes. 12/24v electric circuit diagnostics. Trouble shooting capabilities applied to hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Knowledge of PLC boards and electrical drawings. Full driving license for cars and heavy goods vehicles.
