## Description

As Drilling Solution Engineer within NOV’s you will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise in drilling operations. You will work closely with clients, drilling engineers, and other team members to ensure the successful execution of drilling projects. Your role will involve analyzing and optimizing drilling solutions to maximize operational efficiency and safety.

## Requirements

Essential Bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.  Strong knowledge of drilling fundamentals, including drilling techniques, drilling fluids, wellbore stability, and drilling equipment. Minimum of 2 years of experience in Drilling or a related role in the oil and gas industry. Experience with drilling optimization, including the selection of drilling parameters and drilling fluid properties.  Desirable Basic understanding of drilling rig components, including drill bits, drill string, and drilling fluids.  Familiarity with drilling practices, such as rotary drilling, mud circulation, and well control.  Ability to interpret drilling data, such as drilling parameters and wellbore conditions.  Proficiency in basic wellbore stability analysis and drilling fluid properties. Proficiency in utilizing and customizing advanced drilling software applications, such as real-time monitoring systems, drilling optimization algorithms, and data analytics platforms. Familiarity with drilling software applications for hydraulics analysis and torque and drag modelling.
