PALACES: RED PALACE JOB TITLE: Engineering Supervisor REPORTING TO: Chief Engineer / DOE THE POSITION Under the guidance of the Chief Engineer / DOE, the position will operate, Control, maintain and repair all aspects of the Palace’s Systems, Programs, equipment, assets and Admins, in accordance with Boutique Group standards to achieve optimum operating efficiency at all times EDUCATION REQUIRED: Must have All requirements of Engineering Coordinator Associate’s degree in engineering systems controls and Admin or similar or equivalent in years’ experience required 6 years. Authorized Locally to work as engineering systems, Maintenance, controls, Programs and Admin QUALIFICATIONS Must have 4-6 years’ direct experience in Hospitality Engineering supervisory systems controls. Must have entry-level training on BMS building automation system and know how to utilize the control program for troubleshooting. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service. Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is preferred. Local market experience is an asset. Familiarity with Palace/Maintenance management software’s, systems and Programs. Ensure that all potential and real hazards are reported immediately. For all of him supervised works executed, by own staff members or external third parties and on the building, plants or technical installations he shares the responsibility. Set up scenarios and contingency plans for all possible breakdowns and ensure readiness of the corrective action and delivering the best alternative scenarios to ensure all guest and stakeholder satisfactions and safety, ensure all staff trained and ready to do their roles in high quality all the time by implementing required monthly inspection and tests, Set Up / Implements together with the Chief Engineer on the Software “Transcendent” all necessary work procedures for preventive maintenance, initiates respective scheduled procedures and monitors carrying out of work. Determines for repair work the priorities and takes care for the quick removing of all breakdowns. Does not accept work, which is not executed in a competent manner. In case of disputes, involves the Chief Engineer or Director of Engineering for a decision. Carries out preventive and routine maintenance comply with PM & RPM Program guidance and tools. Ensure strictly follow up and update the program requirement such checklists, daily routine data collection and review, logbooks, procurement processed. with on time Correction Actions required Attend operational meetings or briefings requested by the Chief Engineer/Director of Engineering. Supports to ensure all staff are thoroughly familiar with the hotel’s emergency equipment and procedures and in a state of preparedness for any emergency, which may occur. Execution of regular technical/skills or “On the Job” trainings. Is responsible for setting up and maintaining ongoing training programs in the Engineering division Attends to all types of repairs and maintenance work in the Palace premises, including any new additional / extensions to the Palace or any other properties maintained by the Palace. Control/Responds to entire process of guest maintenance request within 15 minutes or receipt of the same and strictly follow entire program and actions related. Ensures that the plant rooms, workshops and related areas are kept clean and tidy condition. Observes prescribed safety standards. Helps maintain safe conditions for self and others.
