What you’ll achieve: As a Principal Engineer, you will lead high-impact initiatives centered on Dell storage solutions—including Dell PowerScale and ObjectScale, owning end-to-end architectures and complex integration strategies across enterprise and AI-driven environments. You will prototype solutions, validate design patterns, drive ecosystem integrations and data management tools, and ensure non-functional requirements—performance, scalability, resilience, and security—are met at scale. Take the first step towards your dream career Every Dell Technologies team member brings something unique to the table. Here’s what we are looking for with this role: Essential Requirements 8+ years of progressive experience in enterprise storage architecture, design, and delivery. Proven track record in the delivery of complex storage design architectures, large-scale integrations, and data migrations across heterogeneous environments. Hands-on experience designing and implementing Dell storage solutions in AI/ML, analytics, and high-performance computing projects. Automation-first mindset with practical experience applying automation across build, test, and deploy pipelines to accelerate delivery and ensure repeatability.   Desirable Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Dell Technologies Proven Professional certification in Storage Design and Implementation (e.g., PowerScale, ObjectScale, and related tracks).
