As a Commis 1 at Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centre, a Forbes Five-Star luxury hotel, you will support the Pastry team in preparing and presenting high-quality pastry products while contributing to the delivery of exceptional culinary experiences. You will uphold the highest standards of quality, hygiene, and presentation, working collaboratively within a refined kitchen environment that reflects Waldorf Astoria’s commitment to luxury, precision, and excellence.

## Requirements

What are we looking for?  A Commis 1 at Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centre is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow: •    Previous experience in a Commis Chef role, preferably within a luxury hotel or high-quality dining environment.  •    Positive attitude with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.  •    Very good verbal communication and interpersonal skills.  •    Ability to perform effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced culinary environment.  •    Strong team player with the ability to follow direction and contribute collaboratively.  •    Eagerness to learn, develop, and build a successful career within the culinary and hospitality industry.  •    Basic Food Hygiene certification or equivalent food safety training.  •    Genuine passion for food, pastry, and the culinary arts.  •    Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.  •    Ability to consistently deliver high standards of quality, presentation, and operational excellence.
