Healthpoint is seeking a highly qualified and patient-centered Consultant Rheumatologist to join its multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will provide expert diagnosis, management, and treatment of a wide range of rheumatic, autoimmune, inflammatory, and musculoskeletal disorders. The role involves delivering evidence-based care, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and supporting Healthpoint's commitment to clinical excellence, innovation, and outstanding patient outcomes. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients with rheumatologic and autoimmune diseases. Manage a broad spectrum of conditions including rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, vasculitis, spondyloarthritis, gout, osteoporosis, connective tissue disorders, and other inflammatory musculoskeletal diseases. Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing pharmacological, biologic, and non-pharmacological therapies. Perform and interpret relevant diagnostic procedures, including joint aspirations and injections, musculoskeletal ultrasound (where applicable), and disease activity assessments. Collaborate closely with Orthopedics, Internal Medicine, Rehabilitation, Pain Management, Radiology, and other clinical specialties to ensure integrated patient care. Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, case discussions, and quality improvement initiatives. Educate patients and families regarding disease management, treatment options, and preventive care strategies. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with organizational, regulatory, and accreditation standards. Contribute to medical education, clinical research, and continuous professional development activities. Support service development initiatives and uphold the highest standards of patient safety and quality care. Qualifications Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) recognized by the Department of Health (DOH), Abu Dhabi. Completion of an accredited residency training program in Internal Medicine. Completion of a recognized fellowship/specialty training program in Rheumatology. Tier 1 qualification preferred, including: Arab Board with Rheumatology Fellowship American Board Certification Canadian Fellowship (RCPSC) CCT/CCST (United Kingdom) FRACP (Australia/New Zealand) Equivalent internationally recognized specialization Eligible for Consultant licensure with the Department of Health (DOH), Abu Dhabi. Minimum of 3–5 years of post-specialization experience as a Consultant Rheumatologist preferred. Experience in managing complex autoimmune and inflammatory diseases and prescribing biologic therapies. Strong interpersonal, communication, and multidisciplinary collaboration skills. Commitment to delivering patient-centered, evidence-based care and clinical excellence.

## Requirements

Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) recognized by the Department of Health (DOH), Abu Dhabi. Completion of an accredited residency training program in Internal Medicine. Completion of a recognized fellowship/specialty training program in Rheumatology. Tier 1 qualification preferred, including: Arab Board with Rheumatology Fellowship American Board Certification Canadian Fellowship (RCPSC) CCT/CCST (United Kingdom) FRACP (Australia/New Zealand) Equivalent internationally recognized specialization Eligible for Consultant licensure with the Department of Health (DOH), Abu Dhabi. Minimum of 3–5 years of post-specialization experience as a Consultant Rheumatologist preferred.
