## Description

We’re Hiring: Electrical Design Engineer – Power and Industrial Systems

Location: Dubai, UAE

Reporting To: Chief Systems Architect

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer with a strong background in power generation or industrial plant engineering to join an innovative engineering team in Dubai.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and verify electrical calculations, load lists and energy balances.

Prepare single-line diagrams, cable schedules, earthing and lightning protection designs.

Specify generators, transformers, LV/MV switchgear, protection systems and UPS equipment.

Perform short-circuit, voltage-drop and protection coordination studies.

Support energy metering, hazardous-area electrical design, installation and commissioning.

Prepare accurate, issue-ready electrical drawings and technical documentation.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical engineering within power generation or industrial plants.

Practical LV/MV electrical engineering experience, including hands-on installation and commissioning exposure.

Strong knowledge of cable sizing, protection systems, earthing and electrical equipment specification.

Experience with AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, ETAP, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, SKM, Amtech or equivalent tools.

Candidates should be comfortable independently developing engineering calculations and drawings and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
