## Description

Group Legal Counsel

Work Location: Dubai, UAE

Remuneration: Competitive

A well established, diversified energy group are seeking to appoint a Legal Counsel to be based in their Dubai office.

The role reports to their VP.

Must have requirements:

7-10 years PQE in law having worked for both a magic circle law firm and in-house experience.

Oil & Gas, energy sector experience is a must

Fluent in English is a must, with Arabic and French language fluency is an added advantage.

Education:

Law degree (LLB or equivalent) from a well recognised university

Master's degree (LL.M.) is advantageous

Role Summary

Provides practical legal support across transactions, projects and operations, safeguarding the Group's legal, regulatory and reputational interests while enabling business growth through effective contracting, governance, compliance and risk management. Oversees legal matters from inception to completion, including management of external counsel.
