We Are Hiring: Senior Technical Engineer

Elegancia Arabia is looking for an experienced Senior Technical Engineer to join our Procurement Department. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background in Civil or Architectural Engineering, with hands-on experience in delivering finishing and fit-out projects within Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate technical designs, drawings, specifications, and engineering documents.

• Coordinate with consultants, architects, designers, and project teams to ensure technical requirements are met.

• Review structural and architectural design proposals and identify potential design or construction constraints.

• Support value engineering initiatives and recommend practical, cost-effective technical solutions.

• Coordinate technical evaluations of materials, specifications, and supplier submittals.

• Review and follow up on material and technical submittals to ensure compliance with project requirements.

• Coordinate with Procurement and Project teams regarding technical requirements and material availability.

• Review shop drawings, as-built drawings, and other technical documentation.

• Monitor material testing requirements and coordinate technical issues with relevant stakeholders.

• Prepare technical reports and follow up on outstanding technical matters.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering.

• Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience; 2 year(s) GCC is a plus.

• Previous experience in successfully delivered finishing and fit-out projects is essential.

• Strong knowledge of construction materials, technical specifications, drawings, and engineering standards.

• Experience in technical evaluation, material submittals, and coordination with suppliers and project teams.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.

• Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems will be an advantage.

• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
