Electrical Project Engineer

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Department: Projects & Real Estate

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Electrical Project Engineer to oversee and coordinate electrical engineering activities across real estate development, construction, and facility improvement projects.

The role involves ensuring that electrical installations and project deliverables are completed according to approved designs, technical specifications, project schedules, safety regulations, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate electrical works across construction, real estate development, and renovation projects.

• Review electrical drawings, technical specifications, shop drawings, and material submittals to ensure compliance with project requirements.

• Monitor project progress and ensure electrical activities are completed within approved timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and internal project teams to resolve technical and operational issues.

• Oversee electrical installations, including power distribution, lighting systems, low-current systems, and related infrastructure.

• Conduct site inspections and monitor the quality of electrical works to ensure compliance with applicable codes and safety requirements.

• Support testing, commissioning, inspections, and handover activities for completed electrical systems.

• Identify project risks, technical challenges, and potential delays, and recommend corrective actions.

• Prepare project progress reports, technical documentation, and updates for management.

• Ensure compliance with Saudi electrical regulations, relevant technical standards, and HSE requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, preferably within construction, real estate development, or facility projects.

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, lighting, and low-current systems.

• Experience reviewing electrical drawings, technical specifications, and construction documentation.

• Familiarity with Saudi Building Code (SBC), applicable IEC standards, and electrical safety requirements.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.

• Knowledge of Revit MEP, MS Project, or Primavera P6 is an advantage.

• Strong technical problem-solving, communication, and project coordination skills.

• Ability to work effectively with contractors, consultants, and multidisciplinary project teams.
