Facilities Operations & Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Facilities Operations & Maintenance Engineer with at least four years of experience in facilities management or Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) maintenance. You will oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous facility operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintenance Management: Plan, schedule, and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance for MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical panels, generators, plumbing networks, fire alarms, and firefighting systems.

• Emergency Response: Respond promptly to breakdowns, troubleshoot technical faults, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.

• Team and Contractor Supervision: Direct and monitor the daily activities of in-house technicians and external subcontractors, ensuring adherence to technical specifications, quality standards, and HSE requirements.

• Inventory and Spare Parts: Identify spare parts and maintenance material requirements and coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability.

• Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate maintenance records and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports for management review.

• Compliance and Standards: Ensure facility operations comply with applicable local regulations, safety codes, and industry best practices.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.

• Experience: At least four years of hands-on experience in facilities management or MEP maintenance.

• Technical Skills: Strong ability to interpret engineering and as-built drawings, with familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS).

• Core Skills: Excellent problem-solving, communication, and time-management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and respond effectively to emergencies.

## Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering. At least four years of hands-on experience in facilities management or MEP maintenance. Strong ability to interpret engineering and as-built drawings, with familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS).
