## Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer with a strong background in MEP contracting projects to oversee electrical engineering activities, ensure compliance with project specifications, and coordinate with consultants, contractors, and site teams for the successful execution of projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise electrical engineering activities for MEP construction projects.

• Review electrical drawings, shop drawings, technical submittals, and material specifications.

• Ensure compliance with project specifications, UAE regulations, DEWA/ADDC requirements, and applicable electrical standards.

• Coordinate with consultants, main contractors, and other MEP disciplines to resolve technical issues.

• Monitor site progress, installation quality, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.

• Review and approve technical submissions, method statements, and inspection requests.

• Ensure adherence to project schedules, quality standards, and health and safety requirements.

• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues related to electrical installations.

• Support project planning, material coordination, manpower allocation, and cost control.

• Lead electrical engineers, supervisors, and site teams to achieve project targets.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.

• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably within the UAE MEP contracting industry.

• Strong experience in commercial, residential, hospitality, or other building construction projects.

• Good knowledge of LV systems, lighting, power distribution, cable sizing, containment, earthing, and lightning protection systems.

• Experience in reviewing electrical drawings, technical submittals, and material approvals.

• Knowledge of UAE authority requirements, particularly DEWA or ADDC regulations, as applicable.

• Strong coordination, leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Candidates available to join immediately or on short notice will be preferred.
