## Description

Job Summary

• Technical leader with an impact level defined by the ability to design critical systems and influence technology strategy. Operating primarily within the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) the role is responsible for designing secure, scalable, and reliable cloud solutions that address customer requirements and business objectives. the role's mindset is focused on collaboration and long-term vision, ensuring the architecture is sound and aligns with key business objectives. This role involves mentoring others and promoting reusables and scalable architectural principles for modern cloud infrastructure

Principal Duties & Detailed Job Description

• System design: lead the architectural design of large-scale systems, focusing on resilient and well-architected technical environments

• Technology standards: evaluate and select technologies, defining standards and best practices for the department

• Team mentorship: mentor and guide other architects and technical leads to help elevate the team's overall capabilities

• Strategic alignment: collaborate with leadership to align the technology roadmap with strategic business goals

Qualification Requirements

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related technical field

Work Experience

6+ years of relevant experience with a significant portion in an architectural role, including hands-on experience designing and implementing cloud solutions, preferably on GCP (not only presales & Advisory)

Certification/License

Preferred: Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification (or equivalent), Terraform professional, or recognized enterprise architecture credentials such as TOGAF

Language Skills

Professional working proficiency in English. Arabic is a plus

Functional Job Competencies

• System/solution architecture: proven expertise in designing secure, scalable and resilient distributed systems.

• Technical influence: demonstrated ability to influence technical decisions and lead architectural governance

• Communication: exceptional communication skills to articulate complex solutions to any audience
