## Description

Job Summary

The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing General Ledger (GL) activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and overseeing Zakat and VAT compliance in accordance with applicable Saudi regulations and accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage General Ledger activities, journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing.

• Prepare financial statements and ensure the accuracy of accounting records.

• Handle Zakat and VAT calculations, returns, reconciliations, and timely submissions.

• Ensure compliance with ZATCA requirements and applicable accounting standards.

• Support internal and external audits and provide required financial documentation.

• Monitor tax regulations and recommend improvements to accounting processes and internal controls.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience, particularly in GL, Zakat, and VAT.

• Strong knowledge of Saudi ZATCA regulations and VAT compliance.
