About the Role We are seeking experienced AI Engineers to contribute to data-intensive engineering and AI-driven initiatives for our client in Riyadh. The role focuses on building and maintaining scalable data pipelines, supporting data processing and storage platforms, and ensuring data quality and governance across batch and streaming environments. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Python, SQL, Apache Spark, Kafka, ETL/ELT processes, data lakes, and data warehouses. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain batch and streaming data pipelines. • Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows for data processing and integration. • Develop data processing solutions using Python, SQL, and Apache Spark. • Work with data lakes and data warehouses to support scalable data storage and processing. • Implement and maintain streaming data solutions using Apache Kafka. • Monitor pipeline performance, troubleshoot failures, and improve reliability. • Implement data quality checks and contribute to data governance standards. • Collaborate with engineering teams to support data platform requirements. • Document pipelines, processing workflows, and technical standards. Qualifications • At least 6 years of relevant professional experience in AI engineering, data engineering, or a closely related field. • Saudi nationality is mandatory. • Strong hands-on programming experience with Python and SQL. • Experience building and managing batch and streaming data pipelines. • Practical experience with ETL/ELT processes. • Experience working with data lakes and data warehouses. • Experience with Apache Spark and Kafka. • Understanding of data quality, validation, and governance practices. • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary technical teams.
