## Description

JOB PURPOSE

The Maintenance Planner plans and schedules maintenance activities to maximize equipment availability while meeting production requirements. The role prepares weekly, daily, preventive, and predictive maintenance plans, defines job scope and resources for work orders, and coordinates with Production, Operations, Warehouse, and HSE to ensure planned work is executed safely and recorded accurately in SAP PM.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Maintenance Planning & Scheduling

• Develop weekly and daily maintenance plans based on production requirements.

• Prepare preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.

• Prepare manpower schedules and record manpower hours.

Work Order Planning & Prioritization

• Plan corrective maintenance work orders based on priority and equipment criticality.

• Define job scope, manpower, tools, spare parts, materials, and estimated duration.

• Prioritize work orders based on safety, production impact, equipment criticality, and urgency.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Coordinate maintenance activities with Production, Operations, Warehouse, and HSE.

• Coordinate spare parts and material availability ahead of planned jobs.

• Align planned work with production windows to minimize downtime.

Work Order Closure & Maintenance Records

• Close completed work orders in SAP PM.

• Ensure maintenance history is properly recorded in SAP PM.

• Track planning performance, such as schedule compliance and work order backlog.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering discipline.

• 3–5 years of experience in maintenance planning and scheduling in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
