Due to the nature of the projects and client expectation, the position will be initially office based with a possibility to move to onshore site in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Responsibilities Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities: • Oversee all pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities in accordance with project specifications, safety standards, and contractual requirements. • Develop and implement commissioning procedures, checklists, and system turnover plans in collaboration with construction, quality, and operations teams. • Coordinate with engineering and construction teams to ensure that systems are mechanically completed and ready for commissioning on schedule. • Execute functional and performance testing of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and control systems to verify operational readiness. • Supervise and guide subcontractors and vendor representatives during the commissioning phase to ensure compliance with technical standards. • Monitor commissioning progress and generate detailed reports capturing KPIs, system readiness, and any deviations or concerns. • Ensure strict adherence to HSE procedures during all commissioning activities, conducting risk assessments and ensuring work permits are in place. • Coordinate system handover and documentation, including as-built records, test reports, and operation manuals, in line with client requirements. • Support troubleshooting, loop checking, and dynamic testing activities during startup, addressing anomalies and resolving issues collaboratively.
