## Description

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Mechanical Engineer (MEP) with strong expertise in high-rise residential, commercial, and mixed-use tower projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the installation, coordination, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems while ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with project specifications and applicable standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise mechanical works for high-rise building projects.

• Review mechanical shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.

• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and other engineering disciplines.

• Ensure installation of HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, Fire Fighting, and Mechanical Ventilation systems in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.

• Monitor project progress, productivity, and quality of works on site.

• Conduct inspections and resolve technical issues during construction.

• Ensure compliance with local authority regulations and project requirements.

• Participate in testing, commissioning, and handover activities.

• Prepare progress reports and maintain project documentation.

• Support procurement by reviewing technical specifications and material requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• Minimum 5-8 years of UAE/GCC experience in MEP construction projects.

• Proven experience delivering high-rise tower projects.

• Strong knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and Mechanical Systems.

• Experience in reviewing shop drawings, coordination drawings, and BIM models is an advantage.

• Familiarity with local authority requirements and international standards.

• Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office.

• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with leading MEP contractors in the UAE.

• Knowledge of BIM/Revit.

• Experience in testing and commissioning of mechanical systems.
