## Description

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll accounting

• Strong knowledge of payroll accounting practices, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes

• Working knowledge of applicable labor laws and regulatory compliance requirements

• Proficiency in payroll systems and ERP platforms (Oracle)

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Key Responsibilities

• Administer end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of all payroll transactions

• Prepare, review, and post payroll-related journal entries to the general ledger in accordance with accounting standards

• Perform monthly payroll reconciliations and investigate and resolve any discrepancies

• Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws, tax regulations, and Regulatory requirements

• Calculate and process employee benefits, including allowances, leave encashments, and end-of-service settlements

• Prepare and submit reports within prescribed deadlines

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records, ensuring proper documentation and audit readiness

• Support internal and external audit processes by providing required payroll documentation and explanations

• Collaborate with HC to ensure accuracy of employee data and alignment with compensation structures

• Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes, controls, and system efficiencies
