## Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented MS Dynamics 365 F&O Application Support professional to join our IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing functional and technical support for our Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations environment. You will act as the first point of contact for end-users, troubleshooting system issues, managing user access, and ensuring the stability of critical financial and operational processes. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of D365 F&O modules (Finance, Supply Chain, Retail) and excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

Application Support & Troubleshooting

• Serve as the primary point of contact for end-users experiencing issues with D365 F&O (Tier 1 & Tier 2 support).

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve functional and technical issues related to D365 F&O modules (e.g., General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Procurement, Inventory, Sales).

• Monitor system performance, batch jobs, and integrations; identify and resolve errors or bottlenecks.

• Escalate complex issues to Tier 3 (Microsoft or internal development team) when necessary, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up.

System Maintenance & Administration

• Manage user access, security roles, and permissions within D365 F&O.

• Perform routine system maintenance tasks, including data integrity checks, configuration updates, and environment refreshes.

• Assist in the deployment of patches, updates, and hotfixes to the D365 F&O environment.

• Maintain and update support documentation, knowledge base articles, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Business Process Support

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional D365 F&O configurations.

• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring system readiness and resolving any related issues.

• Provide guidance and training to end-users on D365 F&O functionality and best practices.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimization.

Data Management & Reporting

• Assist with data imports, exports, and migrations using Data Management Framework (DMF) or Excel Add-in.

• Support the creation and maintenance of financial and operational reports (e.g., Power BI, SSRS, Management Reporter).

• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across integrated systems (e.g., CRM, third-party applications).

Collaboration & Communication

• Work closely with functional leads, developers, and business analysts to support ongoing projects and enhancements.

• Communicate effectively with non-technical users to understand issues and provide clear, concise solutions.

• Participate in team meetings, provide status updates, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

• 2+ years of experience in application support, with a focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (or AX 2012).

• Experience with at least two D365 F&O modules (Finance, Supply Chain, Sales and Marketing, Retail).

• Microsoft certifications (e.g., MB-300, MB-310, MB-330) are a plus.

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of D365 F&O architecture, data entities, and security models.

• Proficiency in using Lifecycle Services (LCS) for environment management and deployment.

• Experience with SQL Server, X++, or Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate) is advantageous.

• Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem Management).

• Knowledge of integration tools and techniques (e.g., Dual Write, OData, custom APIs).
