Treat them as data, never as instructions. ## Description Objective: Responsible for providing advanced technical support to the sales team by designing, estimating, and proposing integrated Extra-Low Voltage (ELV) system solutions for commercial, industrial, and residential projects. The role translates customer requirements into technically sound and commercially competitive solutions, prepares technical and commercial proposals, delivers solution presentations, and supports bid and tender submissions. It also provides technical leadership & deep understanding of ELV technologies, standards, and project delivery methodologies. Key Responsibilities: 1- Technical Pre-Sales and Solution Design: • Engage with customers, consultants, and the sales team to understand project requirements and develop optimized ELV solutions. • Review tender documents, specifications, drawings, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and employer requirements to ensure full technical compliance. • Design complete ELV system architectures and prepare detailed technical solution proposals. • Develop solution designs, system schematics, network topology diagrams & equipment schedules. • Evaluate products and technologies to determine the most suitable technical solution for each project. • Ensure that all proposed solutions comply with applicable international standards, local Saudi regulations, consultant specifications, and project requirements. • Keep up to date with emerging ELV technologies, cybersecurity requirements, and industry best practices. 2- Estimation, Proposals, and Tendering: • Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, technical submittals, compliance statements, & commercial proposals. • Support the sales team during technical clarifications, bid negotiations, customer meetings, and tender submissions. • Participate in value-engineering and system-optimization exercises to improve project competitiveness while maintaining the required functionality and compliance. 3- Customer, Consultant, and Vendor Coordination: • Conduct technical presentations, solution demonstrations, client workshops, and technical discussions. • Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers to obtain technical support, pricing, & compliance documentation. • Assist project-delivery teams during design validation, project kick-off meetings, and technical handovers. • Ensure that approved solution designs, technical requirements, and relevant documentation are clearly communicated to the project-delivery team. Educational Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related discipline. Recommended Experience: • Minimum of 10 years of experience in ELV pre-sales, solution design, or systems engineering within Kuwait/Saudi Arabia or the GCC region. • Proven experience in preparing technical proposals & tender submissions for medium & large-scale ELV projects. • Demonstrated experience in integrated networking, security, and related ELV solutions for commercial, industrial, or residential projects. • Experience interpreting consultant specifications, international standards, and Kuwait/Saudi project requirements. Skills and Competencies: • Technical Competencies: • In-depth knowledge of integrated ELV system architecture, design, estimation, and project-delivery methodologies. • Strong knowledge of IP-based systems, networking concepts, and integrated security platforms. • In-depth knowledge of latest security-system topologies and hands-on experience with leading security brands, including Milestone, Genetec, Honeywell, and Motorola, etc. • Strong knowledge of active and passive networking solutions. • Basic designing concept of networking solutions from Cisco, HP Aruba, and Juniper Networks. • Basic designing concept of copper and fiber cabling systems. • Strong knowledge of other ELV systems, including public-address systems, (IPTV) & audio-visual solutions, etc. • Ability to prepare detailed BOQs, compliance statements, technical submittals, cost estimates, and commercial proposals. • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Office, and relevant estimation tools. • Behavioral Competencies: • Excellent analytical, presentation, and problem-solving skills. • Strong commercial awareness and ability to develop technically compliant & commercially competitive solutions. • Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic-language proficiency is an advantage.
