## Description

About the Opportunity

TalentScript is recruiting on behalf of a Kuwait-based investment holding company with business interests in private equity and real estate.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with strong hands-on accounting skills, financial reporting expertise, and the ability to manage accounting activities independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS.

• Handle intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and consolidation adjustments.

• Manage accounting for investments, subsidiaries, and associated entities.

• Handle general ledger accounting, month-end closing, and financial reporting.

• Coordinate statutory audits and prepare supporting financial schedules.

• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

• 5–8 years of relevant professional experience.

• Proven accounting experience within a holding or group company.

• Strong hands-on experience preparing consolidated financial statements.

• Practical experience in investment accounting.

• Strong IFRS knowledge; relevant certification preferred.

• Ability to independently manage accounting responsibilities across multiple entities.

• Currently based in Kuwait.

Important: This position requires practical group accounting expertise. Candidates whose experience is predominantly FP&A, budgeting, or corporate finance may not be suitable.
