## Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant / Finance Specialist to support the Finance Department in ensuring efficient and uninterrupted financial operations.

In this role, you will strengthen the department's operational capacity by providing backup support across key finance functions, including:

• Accounts Payable (AP)

• Accounts Receivable (AR)

• General Ledger (GL)

• Grants Management

The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining business continuity, balancing workloads across the team, and minimizing dependency on key personnel. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to process efficiency, operational resilience, and the overall effectiveness of the finance function.

Key Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day accounting and financial operations.

• Provide backup coverage for AP, AR, GL, and Grants Management activities.

• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records and transactions.

• Support compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and regulatory requirements.

• Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiencies within the Finance Department.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent) is an advantage.

• Proven experience in accounting, finance operations, or financial reporting.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial systems.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
