## Description

Position: Senior QC Engineer (Mechanical)

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and inspect mechanical works, including piping fabrication, erection, equipment installation, and pressure testing.

• Ensure compliance with project specifications, approved ITPs, international codes, and client quality requirements.

• Review inspection reports, material certificates, welding/NDT records, and mechanical completion documentation.

• Coordinate inspections with the client, PMC, subcontractors, and third-party inspectors.

• Manage NCRs, quality observations, punch lists, and mechanical handover dossiers.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.

• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in mechanical quality control and inspection.

• Strong knowledge of ASME, API, ISO standards, piping systems, static and rotating equipment.

• Experience in inspection, testing, quality documentation, and client coordination.

• Familiarity with quality documentation systems, electronic document management systems, and Microsoft Office applications.

• ISO 9001 Quality Management System awareness/auditor training preferred.

• Certification such as CSWIP 3.1, AWS-CWI, or equivalent welding inspection certification is preferred.

• Knowledge of NDT Level II qualifications, where applicable.

• API inspection certifications related to the project scope are an advantage.

• Previous QA/QC or welding inspection certifications will be an added value.

• English language proficiency is mandatory.
