## Description

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and manage the design team to ensure timely and accurate completion of all design deliverables.

• Review and oversee the preparation of shop drawings, fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, installation details, and technical submissions for aluminum facade systems.

• Ensure all drawings comply with architectural and structural requirements, project specifications, applicable codes, and client standards.

• Coordinate with Project Managers, Design Managers, Structural Engineers, BIM Modelers, Production, Procurement, and Site Teams to resolve technical issues.

• Review architectural drawings, specifications, and project requirements to identify design discrepancies and propose appropriate technical solutions.

• Manage design schedules, workload distribution, priorities, and deliverable deadlines.

• Conduct quality checks and design reviews to ensure accuracy, constructability, material optimization, and compliance with approved designs.

• Provide technical guidance and support to designers, draftsmen, and BIM Modelers.

• Coordinate with consultants, clients, contractors, and other stakeholders regarding technical clarifications, design revisions, and drawing approvals.

• Ensure proper incorporation of approved material specifications, system details, hardware, aluminum profiles, and fabrication requirements into design documentation.

• Monitor design revisions and maintain proper documentation and version control.

• Support the production team by providing accurate fabrication details, cutting lists, material take-offs, and other required technical information.

• Identify design-related risks, resolve technical challenges, and recommend improvements to enhance productivity and reduce material wastage.

• Ensure compliance with company quality standards, health and safety requirements, and established design procedures.

• Prepare regular progress reports on design deliverables, pending approvals, team performance, and project requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in aluminum facade, architectural aluminum, curtain wall systems, or facade design and manufacturing.

• At least 3–5 years of experience in a design leadership or team management role.

• Proven experience in managing design teams for facade or aluminum manufacturing projects.

• Strong knowledge of aluminum facade systems, curtain walls, windows, doors, cladding systems, and related components.

• Experience in preparing and reviewing shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and installation details.

• UAE or GCC experience in aluminum facade or construction projects is highly preferred.
