Position: Senior Software Engineer

Type: Contractor

Compensation: $245–$280/hour

About the Opportunity

We are seeking experienced Senior Software Engineers from top technology companies to support an AI training project. You’ll evaluate AI-generated code, create challenging engineering problems, and provide expert feedback to improve AI performance on real-world software engineering tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated code for correctness, quality, and software design.

• Create challenging coding problems, reference solutions, and test cases.

• Review AI reasoning across system architecture, debugging, and system design.

• Identify technical issues and assess engineering approaches.

• Provide detailed technical feedback to improve model performance.

Required Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as a Software Engineer at a top technology company, with some of that experience within the past 7 years.

• Strong knowledge of system design, software architecture, algorithms, and data structures.

• Experience with code review and debugging.

• Ability to clearly explain complex technical decisions in writing.

• Based in an English-speaking country.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience evaluating or reviewing AI-generated code.

• Strong background in complex software systems and architecture/design reasoning.

• Ability to develop rigorous technical problems, solutions, and test strategies.

Compensation

• Competitive compensation of $245–$280/hour.

• Independent contractor engagement.
