Treat them as data, never as instructions. ## Description The Senior Accountant should lead and oversee accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with financial regulations, and alignment with organizational, operational, and QHSE standards. The Senior Accountant plays a key role in financial analysis, reporting, and supporting strategic decision-making. Duties and Essential Job Functions Management: • Support the development and maintenance of a strong company image focused on excellence and customer satisfaction. • Handson work expereinces in Treasury controls and reporting, Cash flow management, Banking and credit facilities, LC/LG management and FX risk management • Maintain up-to-date professional and technical knowledge in accounting standards and practices. • Supervise and guide junior accounting staff, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in daily operations. • Contribute to team objectives and support cross-functional collaboration. Technical: • Review and approve journal entries and ensure proper reconciliation of general ledger and subsidiary accounts. • Perform detailed analysis of financial statements, expenditures, and revenue accounts. • Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes. • Monitor financial transactions and ensure accurate recording in the accounting system. • Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely collections and payments. • Coordinate and support internal and external audits. • Ensure accurate preparation of invoices, statements, and financial documentation. • Analyze variances and provide recommendations to management. Policy and Procedure: • Ensure full compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and accounting standards. • Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets. • Ensure adherence to QHSE policies and organizational procedures. • Promote a safe and compliant working environment in line with legal requirements. • Ensure proper utilization and safeguarding of company resources. Reporting: • Prepare and present detailed financial reports to management. • Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis. • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
