Role Description The Electrical Engineer – MEP Engineer will work on-site in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, in a full-time capacity. This role involves designing, reviewing, and implementing electrical and MEP systems for smart home and building projects, ensuring compliance with local codes and industry standards. Daily tasks include preparing electrical drawings and load calculations, coordinating power distribution and low-voltage systems, and collaborating with project managers, contractors, and other engineers to integrate smart devices and controls. The engineer will perform site inspections, troubleshoot electrical issues, support installation teams, and optimize power systems to ensure safety, reliability, and efficient operation of smart home solutions. The role also requires documentation of designs, preparation of technical reports, and continuous alignment with project timelines and quality requirements.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Engineering and Electricity, with solid understanding of principles, codes, and safety standards.

• Candidates should possess skills in Electrical Design, including creating schematics, layouts, and load calculations for building and smart home projects.

• Candidates should possess skills in Power Distribution and Power Systems, including design, coordination, and optimization of LV and MV systems.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.

• Experience in MEP design and coordination for residential or commercial buildings, preferably including smart home or building automation systems.

• Proficiency with relevant design and drafting tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) and familiarity with UAE electrical and building regulations.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities, with attention to detail and safety.

• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively on-site with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
