Role Description The Construction Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Abu Dhabi, responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects. This position manages day-to-day site activities, including coordinating subcontractors, supervising site teams, monitoring progress, and enforcing safety and quality standards. The role includes developing and tracking project schedules, managing budgets and cost controls, reviewing technical drawings, and resolving construction issues in collaboration with engineers, consultants, and clients. The Construction Manager prepares progress reports, chairs site meetings, ensures compliance with local regulations and company procedures, and supports continuous improvement in construction methods and resource utilization.

Qualifications

• Strong supervisory skills, including team leadership, workforce coordination, and performance monitoring.

• Proficiency in budgeting and cost control, including forecasting, resource allocation, and financial reporting.

• Solid knowledge of construction safety practices, risk management, and compliance with relevant health and safety regulations.

• Extensive experience in construction execution, project control, scheduling, and quality assurance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Experience managing medium to large-scale building or infrastructure projects, preferably in the UAE or GCC region.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contracts, with strong problem-solving skills.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with clients, consultants, and multidisciplinary site teams.

• Proficiency with project management and construction software tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar) is an advantage.
