## Description

Role Description

The Business Development Specialist – Events is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This role is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the events segment, including corporate events, brand activations, and promotional campaigns. Day-to-day tasks include prospecting and qualifying leads, preparing proposals and presentations, coordinating with internal teams on event concepts, and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential clients. The specialist will manage the sales pipeline, negotiate contracts, track performance against targets, and provide regular reporting on market trends and competitor activity. Collaboration with the marketing and operations teams is essential to ensure that event solutions meet client objectives and align with the agency’s strategic direction.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in business development, sales, or account management within events, advertising, or marketing services IN DUBAI

• Strong skills in lead generation, prospecting, and relationship building with corporate and brand partners.

• Ability to develop compelling proposals, pitch presentations, and tailored event solutions that address client needs.

• Solid negotiation, closing, and contract management capabilities, with a focus on achieving revenue and margin targets.

• Understanding of event production, brand activations, and integrated marketing campaigns, preferably in the Dubai or GCC market.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities and deadlines.

• Comfort working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment and collaborating with cross-functional creative and operations teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Prior experience in an agency setting and an established network in the local events and marketing industry is highly beneficial.
